The Community Music Network (CMN) advocates for community music practitioners and runs salon networking events across Germany.

We worked together on a set of short videos to explain the benefits of joining the network and increase membership. We decided on a conversational podcast format, in-keeping with the informality of the network's events.

This video introduces the Community Music Network (CMN) and how it advocates for community musicians in Germany.

The founder and coordinator discuss CMN's history of promoting community music to educators, therapists and social workers and the inclusive networking and exchange of ideas it provides.

The CMN used this video to attract new members on social media and the CMN website.

This video is a simple interview-style approach to shooting. The podcast setup allows for two cameras, proper lighting and microphones which deliver the 'radio voice' staple of podcasts.

In preparation I briefed the participants and provided guidance on how to structure an interview which preserves a spontaneous feel.
